Two circles, twelve steps, one idea
The circle of fifths and the color wheel are both rings of twelve. huemonic lays one over the other — each pitch class gets a hue, arranged in fifths order — so color harmony and musical harmony become the same picture.
Analogous = a fifth
Neighboring hues on the wheel sit a musical fifth apart — the strongest, most consonant relationship in music.
Complementary = a tritone
Colors directly opposite each other are a tritone apart: the most dissonant, tension-filled interval there is.
Triadic = thirds
Hues roughly 120° apart form triadic color harmony — the thirds that build major and minor chords.

Live MIDI-reactive wheel
Play from a MIDI keyboard or your DAW and watch wedges light up in real time. Velocity drives color saturation; octave drives brightness.
Multi-ring spiral
The true circle of fifths is a spiral — twelve just fifths never quite close the loop (the Pythagorean comma). Concentric rings show each octave layer of that spiral.
Correct enharmonic labels
Every wedge is labeled the way musicians actually read it, showing both spellings — A♯ and B♭ — exactly where each belongs.
Built-in synth engine
Sine, saw, square and triangle oscillators with detune, pulse width, sub and noise, a resonant filter with envelope, and an LFO — all onboard.
